Cream Cheese Pound Cake
The cream cheese in this recipe takes this pound cake to the next level! In just 90 minutes you can whip up a moist, fluffy, flavorful pound cake.
Ingredients
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1 ½ cups butter
3 cups white sugar
6 eggs
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.
1. Grease and flour a 10-inch tube or bundt pan.
2. In a large bowl, cream butter, and cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar gradually and beat
3. until fluffy. Add eggs two at a time, beating well with each addition. Add the flour all at once and mix in.
4. Add vanilla. Pour into the pan. Bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Utilize the toothpick test around 1 hour to ensure you don't overcook. 5. When the pound cake is ready, the toothpick inserted into the center of the cake will come out clean.
