With All Your Heart - Lent and Easter

Lent is historically a time of introspection and cleansing, a time when we look forward to the celebration of Easter by asking what God desires of us.  The call to return to God with all our hearts echoes in many passages and stories in the Bible.  This is not just a time of fasting and penance, but also a time to remember just how good the good news really is, by recommitting ourselves to the Lord.  (Series courtesy of www.umcdiscipleship.org/worship/lent-2019-worship-planning-series/with-all-your-heart-series-overview)
